If you are thinking about removing dog urine odor on carpet then I think I can give you a helping hand. After having 2 dogs that were a nightmare for months I learned how to get rid of their dog urine odor stains quickly and effectively by trial and error. One tip I recommend is to stay away from harsh chemicals and toxic products that people may recommend like bleach. Here are some of my top tips for those thinking about removing dog urine odor on carpet.

Paper Towels - Firstly you want to get yourself a lot of paper towels. You are going to soak up as much of the moisture as you possibly can. Keep on applying pressure until you can get no more up from the area and move onto the next step. 2 tips I would recommend here

Firstly, you will probably want to wear gloves as this will get a little messy. Anything you can afford to throw away. Secondly, you might want to leave some paper towels with a weight on top of them on the dog urine odor area to get maximum results.

Baking Soda - Get yourself some normal every day baking soda and sprinkle it over the area where the dog urine odor is coming from. Now you have to use quite a bit here. If in doubt, use a little bit more because it is all coming up anyways and you do not want to come back and have to do this all again. Wait roughly 45 minutes and keep your dog away from that area.

Hoover - After the 45 minutes is up, you should get your hoover and vacuum the whole area which will take up the urine and its odor. There may still be a faint smell of it in the air but you can open a window and spray air freshener to get rid of this.
